Discover Céret

Céret the Authentic :

A walk through Céret reveals a town which is marked by the history and the stamp of Catalan tradition and culture. Each alley, each monument echoes a heritage which has been preserved across the centuries.

Céret the Artist :

Heat, light, reflection…

Céret has always been a source of inspiration for the greatest masters of modern art: Brune, Chagall, Dufy, Herbin, Maillol, Matisse, Picasso…as well as the greatest contemporary names : Armand, Ben, Tapiès, Viallat… all these artists’ works are found at the town’s internationally renowned Museum of Modern Art  and its emotionally charged museum trail.

Céret and festivals :

Céret vibrates to the sound of its concerts, dancing the Sardane lightly to the sound of its traditional Cobla musical ensembles, or the heart stopping rhythm of the Banda walking brass bands for the Cherry Festival, the Feria, or the Light Parade. In summer and in winter children and their parents love to come out into Céret’s streets to share a blend of joy, magic, and tradition.

And in 2022, the festival which is a must for all festival goers : Les Déferlantes !

You can get to the Festival in only 15 minutes using our shuttle.

The Déferlantes Festival in the South of France is now held in Céret ! This music festival brings together French and international performers in July every year. All music styles of music are played from rock to electronic not forgetting French variety.
